Recently, the Wuhan Traffic Management Bureau has enhanced traffic safety education in universities as part of the city's "Civilized Traffic, Smooth Wuhan" initiative, significantly raising awareness among teachers and students.
On the 8th of October, CCNU took the lead by purchasing 10,000 e-bike helmets, distributing them to students in batches. Students shared their excitement online, earning widespread admiration among students from other universities.
As Wuhan's first model university for e-bike traffic safety, CCNU, in collaboration with the Traffic Management Bureau, has also implemented new campus traffic measures, including set up customized cross-campus shuttle buses, new campus bus route, 190 additional motor vehicle parking spaces and 5,000 spaces for non-motorized vehicles.
A representative from the Wuhan Traffic Management Bureau stated that CCNU's experience will be promoted across other universities in the city.
