On October 28, the signing ceremony for the Panlongcheng Campus Project took place at the Conference Center of the Huangpi District People's Government.

At the event, He Jianwen, Secretary of Huangpi District, highlighted that the new Campus of Central China Normal University (CCNU) will further drive the high-quality development of Huangpi disrtrict and create valuable opportunities for CCNU's journey towards a world-class university.
Professor Xia Lixin, Secretary of the CCNU, noted the longstanding bond between CCNU and Huangpi can be traced back to 112 years ago, when local residents Chen Xuankai and Chen Shi funded ZhongHua University, a predecessor of CCNU. The Panlongcheng Campus project, he stated, continues this shared legacy of growth.
President Peng Shuangji and District Mayor Zhang Jin signed the construction agreement. The project aims to establish the Panlongcheng Campus of CCNU, with a focus on discipline development and talent cultivation, contributing to local economic and social progress.
Spanning approximately 3,750 acres (2,107 acres for construction), the campus is expected to open its first phase in 2027, providing full-time undergraduate, postgraduate, and vocational education for about 20,000 students, including international students.
