On April 26, the 2nd Cultural Showcase on Forging Chinese National Community Consciousness and the 3rd Chinese Cultural Exchange Festival were held at Central China Normal University (CCNU)'s Youming Stadium. The event was co-organized by the Hongshan University Town and CCNU. University leaders, along with officials from provincial and municipal departments, attended the opening ceremony.

At the ceremony, Secretary Xia Lixin highlighted the festival's role as a flagship platform for fostering ethnic unity and cultural education, urging teachers and students to align the inheritance of culture with the needs of the times to foster shared progress.
Li Tian, director of Hongshan district's United Front Work Department, commended CCNU's leadership in promoting national community consciousness and the University Town's achievements in cultural collaboration.

At the event, 19 cultural booths presented the cultural characteristics of different ethnic groups and regions in an all-round way by displaying ethnic costumes, delicacies, traditional handicrafts, and musical instruments, alongside performances of folk music, dance, and theater. CCNU's Student Affairs Office introduced the university's pioneering "12345" ethnic education framework, a model that that earned it recognition as Hubei's 2021 Exemplary Institution for Ethnic Unity and Progress.
