On May 20, a delegation led by Jia Ning, Secretary of Northwest Normal University (NWNU), and Yan Yan, Vice President of NWNU, visited Central China Normal University (CCNU) for research and exchange. The delegation held talks with Xia Lixin, Secretary of CCNU, in the conference room of the Administration Building.

Professor Xia Lixin extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation, during which he reviewed CCNU's century-long history and educational profile—highlighting its profound historical heritage, status as a national key university, characteristics in teacher education, and achievements in informatization. Praising NWNU's deep commitment to teacher education, Xia proposed leveraging this visit to strengthen communication, establish a sound cooperation mechanism, and deepen collaboration to contribute to national education development.
Professor Jia Ning introduced NWNU's history, development overview, and educational features, lauding CCNU's outstanding achievements in talent cultivation, teacher education, discipline construction, and educational informatization. He expressed hope that NWNU could learn from CCNU's advanced experience through this visit, particularly to deepen cooperation in talent training, discipline building, and scientific research—thereby enabling NWNU to better fulfill its mission of cultivating normal students in the western region and serving national educational causes.
During the exchange session, representatives from both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on talent cultivation, disciplinary development, and scientific research, laying a solid foundation for future collaborative initiatives.
