Recently, Advanced Agrochem (ISSN:2773-2371)_China’s first English-language international academic journal in the field of agricultural chemistry, l supervised by China's Ministry of Education and hosted by Central China Normal University (CCNU), has been officially included in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) database, a core collection of Web of Science Core . This acceptance signifies that the journal is on track to receive its first Impact Factor in June 2026, a critical marker of its rising stature in global academic publishing.

The inclusion marks a significant milestone for Advanced Agrochem. It fully demonstrates the journal's academic quality and international operational capabilities, while also reflecting the global academic community's high recognition of research in emerging fields of agricultural chemistry.
Launched in September 2022, Advanced Agrochem publishes pioneering research findings across agricultural chemistry, agrochemical biology, pesticide science, plant protection, and food safety. Its rigorous peer-review and rapid publication model have fueled its rapid growth. By June 2025, it achieved the inaugural CiteScore of 9.7, with its real-time CiteScore 2025 climbing to 14.1, placing it among the top international journals in its category.
The ESCI database, launched by Clarivate Analytics in 2015, is part of the Web of Science Core Collection alongside SCIE, SSCI, and A&HCI.
