Vice President of Ulster University Visits CCNU

On April 5th, Ian Montgomery, Vice President of Ulster University visited CCNU and our vice president, Wang Enke, received the delegation. Heads of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange, School of Physical Education and Australia Education Management Group attended the meeting.

Wang Enke introduced the history of CCNU, organizational structure and the number of students. He also reviewed the cooperation between our university and universities in the UK. He said that we had a long-history cooperation with British universities with fruitful achievements. And he hoped that under the high attention of leaders from both schools and strong support of every colleague, the two schools could cooperate in student exchange, teacher exchange, joint training, collaborative research, jointly hosting academic activities in the future, promoting pragmatic exchanges between the two schools forward.  

Ian Montgomery thanked for our warm reception and introduced Ulster Universitys location, school scale, department distribution, comprehensive rankings, discipline advantages and international exchange and cooperation. He said that there were many similarities between the professional disciplines of the two universities and he expected to establish  practical and cooperative partnership with CCNU, especially in sports management, sports health, football coach training, and jointly organizing sports events.  

Ulster University, founded in 1968, is the biggest university in Northern Ireland. Its size ranks 10th in the UK with biomedicine, nursing, nutriology, kinesiology and other disciplines among the best in the UK.
