Delegation of CCNU Paid a Visit to Japan

From November 6th to 10th, a CCNU delegation led by Peng Nansheng, vice president of CCNU headed to visit Tokyo University of the Arts,Niigata University,Sophia University and The University of Tokyo on invitation, and dropped in the Education Department of Embassy in Japan, Consulate General in Niigata, and Sino-Japanese Cultural Exchange Center. Talks on Sino Japanese educational exchanges and cooperation were held respectively, number of consensus have been reached in the fields of inter school exchanges, personnel training, teacher exchange visits, lectures and cooperative research as well as two interscholastic cooperation agreements and intention for one school cooperation.

 

During the visit, Hu Zhiping, Minister-Counsellor of Chinese Embassy in Japan, met with the delegation and expressed his affirmation and strong support towards our work of enhancing educational communication with Japan. Peng Nansheng expressed his sincere gratitude and introduced the activities of "Japan Week" Exchange Year in CCNU, hoping to receive continuous support and assistant from the embassy.

 

When visiting the Tokyo University of the ArtsPeng had a forum with principals, hoping to strengthen the communication on academic researches and exchange programs between students as well as teachers.

 

The delegation also visited the Chinese Consulate General Embassy in Niigata for the first time. Ji Wenbing, Acting Consul General and Consul Zhang Yuansong, met with the delegation. Ji introduced the communication and cooperation between China and Japan in education, culture, economy and trade within consular district. He also expected that CCNU would strengthen the communication with universities in the district. Moreover, exchange students and students studying abroad were supposed to participate more in educational exchange activities there. Peng Nansheng expressed heartfelt gratitude to the reception Consulate General of Niigata offered for the delegation, care for the students and support for the international exchange work in our university.

 

Moreover, the delegation visited over 20 exchange students, students studying abroad and schoolfellows in Tokyo University of the ArtsNiigata Universityand Waseda University. Peng Nansheng asked about their learning, living and working conditions in detail, introduced the good momentum of development of Wuhan and our university and hoped that they can pay attention to safety and balance. Students were all grateful for care and would like to cherish the time of studying aboard and live up to the expectation.

 

Aimed to implement the 2017 "Japan Week" Exchange Year of our university, and further promote the depth and breadth of substantive exchanges with Japanese Universities. The visit paid by the delegation also strengthened exchange and cooperation between our university and diplomatic missions in Japan, Japanese universities and educational exchange organizations, which further enhanced the influence of our university in Japan well. Wu Ming, the Second Secretary of the Education Department of the Chinese Embassy in Japan, provided substantial support for the delegation's visit to Japan.
