CCNU Selected in the 2018 ‘International Cooperation Programme for Innovative Talents’

The Chinese Scholarship Council recently announced the 2018 ‘International Cooperation Programme for Innovative Talents’ funded projects list. The CCNU application of ‘Big Data Business Intelligence and Knowledge Management International Training of Innovative Teacher’ was selected. The project will fund CCNU teachers and students to work as the research associate, study for a doctorate or take part in the joint training project for master and doctoral students in the University of Turku (UTU).


The project is based on the solid foundation of cooperation between the School of Information Management, CCNU and the University of Turku. The school will cooperate with the School of Economics, UTU, bring our existing advantages in Library and Information and Archives Management, Management Science and Engineering Science into full play. Aiming to solve the decision problems companies faced in the time of big data, the projects will cultivate talents with both Chinese and Finnish culture backgrounds and knowledge of multidisciplinary theory. The two schools will also strive to explore and innovate the international cooperation cultivation mechanism.

The University of Turku is one of the most famous comprehensive universities in Finland, it ranked 211 in the QS World University Rankings in 2012 and is the alma mater of the present President of Finland. UTU is the second largest university in Finland and is also the first famous Belt and Road Northern Europe university that signed the student exchange and master’s double major project with CCNU.
