Movie Directed by CCNU Alumnus Honored International Emmy Award

On November 27th, movie director Sun Ning, an alumnus of the School of Educational Information Technology of CCNU, was invited to attend the 47th International Emmy Award ceremony in New York. The movie "Herons", directed by Sun, was awarded International Emmy Award.

It will be released in China on January 1st , 2020, which is the first natural movie adopting Dolby Atmos, telling the story of the heron 'Ze Yi'in the ecological wetland of Yellow River.

Sun Ning graduated from CCNU in 1996. After that, he adhered to learning domestic and overseas documentaries and has been shooting documentaries for more than ten years, creating a series of excellent works.

The “International Emmy Award” is an award bestowed by the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (IATAS) in recognition to the best television programs initially produced and aired outside the United States. The awards are presented at the International Emmy Awards Gala, held annually in November in New York City. It attracts over 1,200 television professionals. The first International Emmys ceremony was held in 1973.
