Release annual quality report

No.1  Introduction of government bodies

The center has released CCNU “Undergraduate Teaching Quality Report (Chinese and English)” and encouraged all schools to draw up and release their own “School Undergraduate Teaching Quality Report” so as to promot  the  reform of the management system, highlight the role of schools and departments in education, and improve the quality of  undergraduate talents cultivation.

The center has released CCNU “Undergraduate Teaching Quality Report (Chinese and English)” and encouraged all schools to draw up and release their own “School Undergraduate Teaching Quality Report” so as to promot  the  reform of the management system, highlight the role of schools and departments in education, and improve the quality of  undergraduate talents cultivation.

 

To compile and release the undergraduate teaching quality report is an important step in conducting self-evaluation, enhancing internal education quality and perfecting information transparency system.It also reflects each teaching unit’s  sense of social responsibility, educational features, and teaching concepts and achievements. The center encourages and instructs all schools to compile their undergraduate teaching quality reports and to actively conduct self-examination and self-evaluation so as to improve teaching quality. The undergraduate teaching quality report  focuses on the key elements  of undergraduate talent cultivation and reflects the new ideas, policies, measures and achievements of each school in undergraduate teaching. The undergraduate teaching quality report  of each schoolmainly  include  an overview of the school,introduction to  undergraduate teaching,  faculty and teaching conditions, teaching  construction  and reform, quality assurance, students’ learning effect,  feature development  in undergraduate  teaching, and problems to be solved.

 

Specifically, the report covers the number of undergraduates of each specialty, the number and structure of teachers,    student-teacher ratio, total value of teaching facilities, total value of new  teaching  facilities,  space of teaching and administrative offices,  regular expenditure in undergraduate teaching,  specialized  undergraduate teaching funds, experiment fund, expenditure on  internship and other affairs,  the number of courses  offered, practical course credits (classified according to majors),  optional course  credits, total credits, ratio of professorsm undertaking courses(excluding lectures)to all professors in the school,ratio of undergraduate courses taught by teachers of different titles to the total number of courses, graduation rate and employment rate of undergraduates,students’ passing rate in physical fitness tests, and other data related to  undergraduat  teaching quality.
