Delegation from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University Visits CCNU

Recently, a 8-people delegation led by Andrea Chester, vice-president of Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University (RMIT) and Li Xinqing, the president of Australia Education Management Group (AEMG) visited CCNU. They attended CCNU’S opening ceremony of Sino-Australia cooperative program. On September 3rd , Qin Hong, Vice Chairman of University Council, met with the delegation. And the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange attended the meeting of Sino-foreign cooperative program (preschool education) management committee.


Qin Hong introduced the progress of the cooperative program and the enrollment status this year. He said, with the strong support of RMIT and AEMG, Sino-foreign  Preschool Education Cooperative Program had made great success in teacher-student communication and cooperative scientific research, etc.. It is hoped that in this cooperation, all of the three sides can make joint efforts, undertake practical measures and make new progress  in the exchange rate of students going abroad and cooperative scientific research.  


During the meeting, the heads of Education College and functional departments held in-depth discussions with the delegation on how to improve the English level of students in the project, the course settings, teaching plans, student internship, graduation ceremony, renewed  cooperation agreement and other issues. 


RMIT University (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology), founded in 1887, is a comprehensive university in business, science, engineering, medicine and liberal arts. It is one of Australia's oldest institutions of higher education, and one of Australia's largest and most successful education institutions, renowned for its employment rate of graduates ranking first in Australia. In 2010, this university ranked five-star in the index of Australian excellent universities, and respectively ranked the 252nd and the 247th in the 2017 and 2018 Quacquarelli Symonds (QR) World University Rankings .
