On November 17, "2024 China National Team Public Service Action" was hosted by the Sports Equipment Center of General Administration of Sport of China at Central China Normal University (CCNU). Olympic champions, including Quan Hongchan from the Chinese national diving team, Li Qian from the Chinese national boxing team, Liu Huanhua from the Chinese national weightlifting team, and He Bingjiao from the Chinese national badminton team, visited the university to share their growth experiences and promote the Olympic spirit among CCNUers.
President Peng Shuangji, Vice President Zhou Pengcheng and other distinguished guests attended the event. President Peng highlighted CCNU's long-standing tradition of valuing and promoting sports while emphasizing its commitment to fostering sports development.
During the champion interview session, the four Olympic athletes shared their personal stories of growth, as well as the triumphs and challenges they faced in their sports career. Their straightforward and heartfelt narratives resonated with the audience, earning warm applause from the teachers and students.
