On January 25th, school leaders led a delegation to conduct research at the Panlongcheng Campus and held a meeting with the leaders of Huangpi District on the construction of the Panlongcheng Campus.

Professor Xia Lixin, Secretary of CCNU committee, first expressed his gratitude to the leaders of Huangpi district for their full support in the preparatory work for the establishment of the Panlongcheng Campus. He also extended his best wishes for the upcoming Spring Festival. He mentioned that since the university officially signed the cooperation agreement with Huangpi District on the construction of the Panlongcheng Campus, the university and the district have joined hands and worked closely together. Overcoming numerous difficulties and challenges, they have successively completed the conceptual design plan for the Panlongcheng Campus, as well as reports on feasibility studies, environmental impact assessments, and social stability risk assessments. They have also compiled the "Overall Planning and Construction Plan for the Panlongcheng Campus of Central China Normal University" with high quality, jointly promoting significant achievements in the construction of the new Campus. He emphasized that the university will spare no effort to promote the construction of the new Campus and actively seek resources from various parties such as the Ministry of Education, the Government of Hubei Province and the Government of Wuhan City.

Mrs. He Jianwen, Secretary of Huangpi district, mentioned four phrases, which are gratitude, expectation, action, and request, to express the strong willingness of the district to firmly support the construction of the Panlongcheng Campus. She also expressed her gratitude to Central China Normal University for choosing Huangpi District to build the new campus, stating that this initiative would inject strong momentum into the region's economic and social development. She expressed her anticipation for future in-depth cooperation between the two parties, believing that through joint efforts, mutual benefits and win-win outcomes would be achieved. She also provided clear responses to the key tasks in the early stages of the Panlongcheng Campus construction.

Prior to the meeting, professor Xia Lixin and his delegation visited the office of land acquisition and demolition for the new campus, as well as the proposed site for the affiliated primary and secondary schools of CCNU to gain a firsthand understanding of the project's progress. They expressed their gratitude to the staff who remained at their posts, distributed gifts and extended their New Year greetings to the working staff.
