On April 28, Central China Normal University (CCNU) held its 2025 May 4th Youth Day Celebration and Student Achievement Awards Ceremony at the Student Activity Center auditorium. Attendees included Liu Zhitian, Secretary of the Provincial Youth League Committee; Xia Lixin, Secretary of the CCNU Party Committee, Peng Shuangjie, University President; other university leaders, faculty representatives, and award recipients.
Participants watched a 2024 CCNU Youth League work summary video, reviewing its achievements over the past year.
The ceremony honored recipients of: The 2024 "President's Award" (students category); 2023-2024 Academic Year Student Advanced Groups & Individuals; 2024 Communist Youth League Advanced Groups & Individuals; Student Affairs Advanced Units; Top Counselors and Ten Outstanding Class Advisors. University leaders conferred honors to representatives of the awardees.
Following the awards, attendees experienced "Walking Toward the Light", an immersive ideological and aesthetic class commemorating the 130th anniversary of Yun Daiying's birth. Organized by the University Youth League Committee and directed by Bai Suxin (School of Journalism and Communication), the event highlighted Yun Daiying's legacy, inspiring youth to uphold revolutionary traditions, embrace responsibility, and strive forward.
