On October 2, the ceremony for the 40th anniversary of the Educational Technology discipline and the founding of the Alumni Association for Faculty of Artificial Intelligence in Education was held in the Science Hall. School leaders of CCNU, extinguished scholars from other institutions, as well as directors of relative administrative departments attended the ceremony.
On behalf of the university, president Peng Shuangjie congratulated on the event, while also paid high tribute to the pioneers who have dedicated four decades to the discipline's development and friends from all walks of life who have supported its growth.

Vice president Liu Sanya reviewed the faculty's groundbreaking achievements across disciplinary development, scientific research and innovation, talent cultivation and social services. He chronicled the enduring journey of CCNU's educational technology community in advancing the deep integration of information technology and education.

Alumni representatives took the stage to present placards displaying their respective donation amounts, formalizing their financial support for the faculty’s research and educational endeavors.

During the alumni address session, Wang Min, Tao Zhiyong, and Liu Qingsheng delivered their speeches in sequence. They expressed their profound gratitude for their alma mater's cultivation, congratulated on the establishment of the alumni association, and commended the university's continuous leadership in technological innovation. They also called on fellow alumni to give back to the discipline and extended their wishes for the university's continued excellence.
A series of academic reports, faculty-student-alumni seminars, and alumni roundtable forums were also organized during the celebration. Experts and scholars including Zhu Zhiting, Jia Jiyou, and Yang Jinyong delivered thematic presentations. Alumni participants spoke freely and contributed ideas, offering collective support for advancing disciplinary development and promoting the high-quality growth of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence in Education.
