Recently the award list for the "Huawei Cup" - the 20th China Postgraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling was announced. Teams from our school worked together and strive for excellence, winning 1 first prize, 8 second prizes, and 9 third prizes.
The China Postgraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling is an academic competition for postgraduates to conduct applied research on mathematical modeling. The competition focuses on solving practical problems, promotes the application of mathematical modeling in industry, academia and research, and provides a high-level opportunity as well as a practical platform for postgraduates to improve their ability to build mathematical models and use internet information technology to solve practical problems. It also aims to foster the cultivation of national high-level specialized technical talents. In this competition, 19898 teams from more than 500 training units at home and abroad participated in the competition. After nearly two months of review, a total of 808 members of the expert committee and specially invited experts selected the first, second, and third national winners.
In recent years, CCNU has continuously made breakthroughs in winning awards in this competition. In the future, by utilizing subject competitions as an important platform, the school will continue to explore and optimize the postgraduate training to achieve high-quality and high-level development of postgraduate education.
