Few days ago, the official WeChat account of the Wuhan Marathon declared that in the 2024 Wuhan Marathon's special segment, the Challenge Contest for Elite School Teams, the team from Central China Normal University (CCNU) emerged victorious with an outstanding score of 67 points. This fiercely competitive event showcased the exceptional team spirit and athletic prowess of CCNU.
The Challenge Contest for Elite School Teams is ranked based on team scores. Each team selects four best-performing athletes (two males and two females) and ranks them according to their finishing time within their respective gender groups. Scores are awarded based on their ranking, and the total score of the four athletes on each team is then summed up. The team with the highest total score ranks first.
Our school's representative team is composed of six members: Peng Zhenxiong from the School of Politics and International Studies, Chang Chan from the School of Foreign Languages, Zheng Yudong, Wu Jianing, Huang Beibei, and Song Haoge from the School of Physical Education and Sports. They challenged themselves and surpassed their limits, not just for the speed, but also for their dreams.
