In the vibrant seasons of spring and summer, the "Club Cup" series came on schedule. The Cross-Country Relay Race and the Flag Rugby tournament, held at CCNU, witnessed enthusiastic participation.
Navigating diverse terrain, teams raced towards victory.
On April 20th, the first Club Cup Cross-Country Race officially kicked off. Featuring 39 teams from 19 colleges and nearly 600 participants, the event showcased spirited competition as players raced for team honor and distinctionin sports.
In the golden sunshine, athletes unite, striving towards victory. Their determination echoes through the field, embodying the spirit of mutual support, friendship, and unity at CCNU. "It was a tough competition, but everyone showed incredible strength. I've trained hard every day, and it's been a rewarding experience." remarked YADIRA ONE, a studentfrom the College of International Cultural Exchange.
Dare to fight, and forge ahead.
On May 12th, the first "Club Cup" flag rugby tournament kicked off at Youming Athletic Field. 14 teams from different faculties and departments, totaling nearly 300 participants, took partin the event.
Many teachers and students were captivated by the excitement of the race.
"The team trained once or twice a week for this tournament. As players grew accustomed to each other, they focused on mastering basic defense and team tactics for both offense and defense. I witnessed great sportsmanship among the players, regardless of the match outcome, and personally gained much from leading the team." commented Coach Wang Zhiyuan.
"On the field, the team captain serves as the 'brain' of the squad, directing the game's flow and rallying player morale." said Liu Dihua, leader of Team Qinkong, "Our players' cohesion stems from weekly training, highlighting the importance of unity in teamwork. Each success boosts ourteam's confidence and fills us with pride."
Throughout theofficial matches, referees and staff membersensured thetournamentransmoothly. Referee Teng Junfeimarked, "Studying the rules before the match helps me be familiar with the game's essence. Duringthe game, we must officiate fairly and impartially. Afterward, timely retrospect and review help us address many issues."
