In the past decades, faculties and students from CCNU have made great endeavor to practice the concept of green development, and notable achievements have been made in the design of environmental protection projects, ecological environment research, etc. It was also his hope that this meeting could make positive contributions to the promotion of cultural exchanges between China and the U.S., and inject new vigor and vitality into the cause of public welfare and environmental protection.
This activity was also aimed at helping the participants from the U.S. to gather a more comprehensive understanding of China, and thus to form a closer, broader as well as deeper cooperation in the field of youth exchanges between China and the U.S. . On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the U.S., organizing this conference could also promote exchanges between the young, and open up new horizons for the continuous development of China-U.S. relationship.
During the keynote speech session, 5 of the representatives presented their insights on green development. They praised the influence of youth in promoting green development, calling on everyone to embrace challenges and work together to create a more sustainable future.
