Recently, Professor Hong Cui from the School of Life Sciences was honored the Distinguished Contribution Award by the East-Asian Association for Science Education (EASE) in recognition of her long-standing contributions and accomplishments in the field of science education.
Over the years, Professor Cui has been dedicated to research in science communication, science education, and biology curriculum and instruction, achieving significant academic milestones. She has led more than 30 national, provincial and ministerial-level research projects, published over 130 academic papers, and received 7 national, provincial and ministerial-level teaching achievement awards.
Founded in 2009, the East-Asian Association for Science Education (EASE) is an academic organization established by science education researchers across East Asia. It aims to provide a platform for collaboration and exchange in science education, with members from the China's mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, as well as Japan and South Korea.
