On March 28, a delegation from Gannan Normal University, led by President Chen Yiwang and Vice President Xiao Dusen, visited Central China Normal University (CCNU). The two universities signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement during a meeting.

President Peng Shuangjie welcomed the delegation and reviewed the historical ties and collaborative achievements since 2020. He emphasized that the agreement marks the transition of the cooperation between the two universities from "pairing assistance" to "deepening cooperation". The two institutions will deepen cooperation in discipline development, faculty training, talent cultivation, and scientific research. CCNU will leverage its strengths in first-class disciplines such as education and Chinese literature to support Gannan Normal University in establishing doctoral programs in fields including Party history and Chinese history.
President Chen Yiwang expressed gratitude for CCNU's full support over tha past five years, which has facilitated Gannan Normal University's development through cadre exchanges, academic resource sharing, and joint research project, ultimately contributing to the university's successful approval of its first doctoral program. It is also his hope that the signing of this agreement will further deepen the cooperation between the two sides in aspects such as discipline construction, faculty development, scientific research empowerment and digital transformation.

At the meeting, Vice President Liu Sanya of our university and Vice President Xiao Dushen of Gannan Normal University signed the agreement on behalf of both sides. President Peng Shuangjie, Chen Yiwang, and the heads of relevant departments of the two universities jointly witnessed the signing ceremony.
