On April 27, Central China Normal University (CCNU) and Tongji Hospital (affiliated with Huazhong University of Science and Technology) signed a Medical Alliance Cooperation Agreement to strengthen integrated healthcare services, technical collaboration, and talent training. The signing ceremony, held at CCNU's administrative building, was attended by Secretary Xia Lixin, Tongji Hospital Vice President Zhang Jinxiang, and representatives from provincial and district health authorities.

Secretary Xia emphasized the partnership's role in meeting growing healthcare demands under Healthy China 2030, highlighting three key priorities: Building a tiered care network, launching innovative health-management pilots, and establishing a joint medical-education platform.
Vice president Zhang pledged to enhance clinical support, talent training, and management efficiency, ensuring better health care for CCNU students and the community.

This marks CCNU's ninth alliance, following collaborations with eight major hospitals. Currently, 12 visiting experts from partner hospitals hold regular clinics at CCNU Hospital, and the Famous Doctors on Campus" program has expanded healthcare access for students and residents.
