From May 23 to 25, the on-site competition of the 5th Hubei Provincial College Teachers' Teaching Innovation Competition was held at the Nanhu Campus of Wuhan University of Technology. Four teachers from Central China Normal University (CCNU) stood out in the competition: Tian Yuan from the School of Psychology, Min Qiusha from the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence Education, Chen Zhihong from the School of Foreign Languages, and Bao An from the School of Marxism. After rigorous online evaluations and on-site defense, Tian Yuan won the Special Prize in the Professor Group, while Bao An claimed the Special Prize in the Intermediate Group. Min Qiusha and Chen Zhihong were awarded the Second Prize in the Professor Group and Curriculum Ideology and Politics Group respectively. Notably, Tian Yuan and Bao An will represent Hubei Province in the 5th National College Teachers' Teaching Innovation Competition.

Co-hosted by the Hubei Provincial Higher Education Society under the guidance of the Hubei Provincial Department of Education, the competition centered on the theme of "Promoting Teaching Innovation and Cultivating First-Class Talents." Adopting a two-stage model of "online evaluation + on-site final," it was divided into five groups: Full Professor, Associate Professor, Intermediate and Below, Curriculum Ideology and Politics, and Industry-Education Integration. A total of 400 teachers (teams) from 72 universities across Hubei participated. After the preliminary online evaluation, 160 teachers (teams) from 48 universities advanced to the on-site final. The competition awarded 27 Special Prizes, 32 First Prizes, 41 Second Prizes, and 59 Third Prizes at the provincial level.

This achievement not only demonstrates CCNU's commitment to teaching innovation and faculty development but also highlights the university's leading edge in promoting educational reform and cultivating high-quality talents.
