On June 27th, a university-local government cooperation symposium between CCNU and the People's Government of Maojian District was held in Shiyan City. At the symposium, a university-local cooperation agreement was signed to jointly map out a new chapter of joint talent cultivation and collaborative development planning. Vice president Li Hongfei and leaders from the district attended the meeting.
On behalf of the university, Vice P resident Li Hongfei thanked the counterpart for their long-term support. He noted that this university-local cooperation is a precise alignment of advantageous resources with strategic needs, enabling effective connection between the talent supply and demand sides and in-depth integration of the intellectual supply with regional development needs. It is a two-way empowerment for talent cultivation and social service, promoting the organic unification of talent development and social service and driving collaborative development between the university and localities.
District Secretary Li Qin fully recognized the university’s strength in education and scientific research, and gave a detailed account of Maojian District’s local conditions and its distinctive tourism economic belt. She also advised on how to deepen the two sides’ cooperation in detail.
At the symposium, the two parties focused on areas including joint talent cultivation, co-construction of platforms, mechanism innovation, and achievement transformation. They also reached a consensus on giving full play to the university’s advantages in science, education and talents as well as the local region’s characteristics in location and industries, and working together to build a new high-level model of university-local collaborative development.
