On September 10, to celebrate the 41st Teachers' Day, CCNU held the 2025 Teachers' Day Celebration and Awards Ceremony. All leaders , along with recipients of major talent programs attended the event. The ceremony was hosted by Vice President Wu Dan.
At the ceremony, university leaders presented honorary certificates to faculty representatives, and issued certificates as well as letters of appointment to representatives selected for major talent programs and newly introduced high-level talents.
Professor Gao Xiaofang from the School of Foreign Languages, shared her educational journey. From her time as a student to becoming a faculty member, the belief that “Deep knowledge inspires authority, and upright conduct sets an example.” was deeply ingrained in her heart. She encouraged young teachers to serve as guides for their students and to savor the joys of education while accompanying them throughout their growth.
Professor Yang Guangfu elaborated on his understanding and reflections regarding “what kind of talents to cultivate” and “how to cultivate them.” He emphasized that teaching and nurturing students are the primary duties of every educator. He looked forward to working with all faculty members to advance talent cultivation, foster students' patriotic spirit and social responsibility, and strive to achieve the university’s goal of becoming ‘a world-class institution leading in teacher education.’
Around Teachers' Day, the university leadership visited and extended greetings to faculty representatives, sincerely thanking them for their contributions to the development and growth of the institution. During the holiday period, the university also organized a series of “Blessings for Teachers' Day” activities in cafeterias to create a culture of respecting teachers and valuing education, encouraging educators to actively dedicate themselves to the university's educational mission.
