Recently the Stanford University in the United States and Elsevier, an international authoritative academic publisher, jointly released the 2025 World's Top 2% Scientists List. Relying on authoritative citation data from the Scopus database, the list selects top talents with outstanding academic influence from nearly 7 million scientific researchers around the world. It comprehensively calculates core indicators such as the total number of citations of papers, h-index, co-authorship-adjusted hm-index, and the citation performance of papers with single authors or first authors.
In this list selection, 17 scholars from our university were included in the "Lifetime Scientific Influence List", and 38 scholars were included in the "Annual Scientific Influence List".


Being included in the list indicates that our university's scholars hold significant global influence in their respective research fields. It fully demonstrates the effectiveness of our university's discipline development and the strength of its scientific research efforts, while also playing a positive role in further enhancing our university's global influence.
According to statistics, a total of 12,374 scholars from China have been included in the Career-long Scientific Influence List, and 31,685 scholars have been selected for the 2025 Annual Influence List.
