On May 19th, the Youming Stadium at Central China Normal University (CCNU) was transformed into a vibrant display of cultural diversity as the second Chinese Cultural Exchange Festival took place. The event served as a testament to the university's commitment to fostering national unity and honoring the rich heritage of China's multicultural society.
Opening Remarks by Xia Lixin, Secretary of the Party Committee of CCNU

Over 1000 brochures were distributed, inviting visitors to participate in traditional games such as shuttlecock kicking, rope turning, and backpack basket embroidery ball. These activities attracted a large crowd of both faculty and students, eager to immerse themselves in the profound and rich tapestry of Chinese culture.
Martial Arts, Dance, and Traditional Sports
The festival transcended static displays, involving into a dynamic celebration of culture. Chinese martial arts demonstrations and square dances by both teachers and students enthralled onlookers. Traditional sports like Bamboo Dance, Bow Pulling, Board Shoes Racing, and Boga showcased the physical prowess and agility integral to Chinese cultural heritage.
A Spectrum of Cultural Performances
At the heart of the festival were its cultural performances, stealing the spotlight with ethnic dances and national fitness exercises. Musical melodramas, original poetry recitations, band performances, and choruses ignited the atmosphere, breathing life into the event.
