Recently, the Department of Science and Technology of Hubei Province announced the list of Outstanding Popular Science Works for 2023, and the bookPesticides: Angels or Demons?co-edited by Professor Yang Guangfu from our College of Chemistry and Academician Song Baoan from Guizhou University, was honored as the Outstanding Popular Science Work of Hubei Province for 2023.
In order to stimulate enthusiasm for popular science creation among people from all walks of life in the province, enhance the level of popular science creation,further promote the scientific spirit, popularize scientific knowledge, and improve the scientific and cultural literacy of citizens,the Department of Science and Technology of Hubei Provinceorganized a collection and selection activity for outstanding popular science works.
It is reported that 30 popular science works across the province have received the honor.
