School Leader Visited Romania and Greece to Promote University Cooperation

From October 30 to November 4, Vice President Ren Youzhou was invited to join the Chinese delegation organized by the China Education Association for International Exchange  and visited Romania and Greece to promote cooperation with other universities in Central and Eastern European countries. During his visit, Professor Ren also attended the 8th China-CEEC Higher Education Institutions Consortium(CCHEIC), the 2nd China-Romania Rectors Forum and the 2nd China-Greece Higher Education Rectors Forum.

On October 30, the 8th CCHEIC was held at Transilvania University of Brasov in Romania. During the conference, Prof. Ren Youzhou delivered a keynote speech, sharing CCNU's successful practices and future prospects in the digital transformation of education.

During the visit, Mr. Han Chunlin, Chinese Ambassador to Romania, also received the Chinese delegation and emphasized the necessity of sustained efforts to enhance educational cooperation between China and Romania.

        During his stay in Europe, Prof. Ren Youzhou also had extensive contacts and in-depth exchanges with more than 10 university presidents, vice-presidents, relevant experts and scholars from Romania, Bulgaria, Greece and other countries, thus effectively promoted CCNU on an international platform and expanded the relationship between our school and universities in Central and Eastern European countries. Negotiations on international exchanges and cooperation, joint school-running programs, academic exchanges of teachers and scientific research cooperation had also been conducted and preliminary consensus of cooperation with some of the universities was also reached .
