The Double Ninth Festival falls on October 23rd this year, and the celebration for the seniors at CCNU was held in the Lecture Hall of the school's Science Hall. Representatives from the age groups of 90, 80 and 70 gathered together to commemorate the festival. The event was hosted by Zha Daolin, the vice secretary of the school party committee, and attended by all school leaders.
At the beginning of the conference, Vice-Principal Ren Youzhou announced the decision to commend the distinguished senior citizens and role models of the years 2021-2023. They were presented with the award certificates by Principal Hao Fanghua and Xia Lixin,the Secretary of the School Party Committee.
Following that, school leaders and students delivered speeches to express their heartfelt appreciation to the elderly for their exemplary roles and significant contributions to the development of CCNU.
At the conclusion of the conference, the representatives of the seniors delivered speeches, expressing their happiness and gratitude to CCNU.
At noon on that day, the Logistics Management Department organized special events to extend sincere gratitude and respect to all the elderly members in CCNU.
