It is the 24th Chinese Journalists' Day Today. "There is nothing like being on the spot to reach the truth, nothing more inspiring than questioning."Television reporters, who are fearless in the face of wind and rain, even unafraid of death, serve to convey the most authentic sounds and scenes to the world. In CCNU , there is also a group of CCNUers shuttling in every corner of the campus, recording every moment happening on campus. Who are they? They are the student journalists from the Media Convergence Center! Today, we have invited some of our excellent student journalists with us to share their unique experiences. Let's have a look!
Trainee Journalist
Question:1. Why do you want to join the Media Convergence Center?
2.What do you want to gain from it?
Wang Yuehan--English Press Corps
In high school, my focus was primarily on my studies. Therefore I did not participate in any extracurricular organizations. However, upon entering CCNU, I unexpectedly discovered that English Press Corps was recruiting new members. I realized that he Media Convergence Center could provide a platform for me to acquire additional knowledge and skills outside the classroom. As such, I filled out the application form to join. I am confident that through my involvement in EPC and the Media Convergence Center, I will create some of the most precious memories of my college experience.
Formal Journalists
Question:1. What have you gained?
2. What are the essential qualities for a professional journalist? Why?
Xiao Yang--Photograph Group
1. Firstly, courage. I have many stories associated with courage. The most unforgettable experience for me was taking group photos, which marked the beginning of my journey towards becoming more courageous. The second gain is input. From capturing the beauty of the blooming osmanthus flowers to documenting every significant event at CCNU, through photography, I witness the great changes taken place in the university. It has always been an honor for me to use my camera to capture and preserve these precious moments
2. Love and persistence. While love serves as the catalyst for your journey, it is persistence that propels you forward and determines your success. Regardless of your field having a strong sense of love and enthusiasm is fundamental. Keep in mind that success often hinges on the ability to never give up, no matter what challenges you face.
Wang Lijing-- Chinese Press Corps
1. Over the past two and a half years, the Chinese Press Corps has not only served as a complement to my liberal art education, but also as a surrogate family. I cherish the warm and welcoming atmosphere present in daily life, as well as the professionalism and dedication displayed by my teammates while executing our tasks. Through my involvement in the Chinese Press Corps, I was fortunate to get engaged in numerous significant campus activities and have met a lot of exceptional partners. This experience has instilled a sense of responsibility in me and provided the opportunity to express my innermost feelings.
2. As a reporter, I believe that the most significant quality is the ability to spot "hot topics" on campus and effectively communicate them to the world through news and media. By doing so, journalists can effectively narrate the story of students dedicating themselves to their schools and communities showcasing the responsibilities of young students in the modern era.
Today, we sincerely express our greatest wishes to all the journalists in China.
Happy Chinese Journalists' Day!
