On 28th of November, professor Ye Guiping, Vice President of the City University of Macao(City U) visited CCNU and had a discussion with Vice President Peng Shuangjie on collaboration and exchange between the two institutions. Staff members from Graduate School, School of Politics and International Studies, and Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs also participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, two parties engaged in a profound discussion on talent cultivation, scientific research, and cultural exchange. Considering this visit as an opportunity, the two universities are committed to enhancing comprehensive cooperation across multiple fields. They aim to explore new avenues and opportunities for faculty & student exchanges, cultural visit, mutual faculty recruitment and postgraduates training etc.
Moreover, leveraging Macao's connection with Portuguese-speaking countries and City U's advantage of research platform, CCNU plans to foster collaboration with other universities in Portuguese-speaking nations.
The City University of Macao stands as a comprehensive university in Macao, China, and is the first official university established by Chinese people since the opening of the port in Macao.
