On March 28th, delegation led by Ha Sung-ju, the Consul General of Korea in Wuhan, visited CCNU and President Peng Shuangjie warmly received the guests.
President Peng Shuangjie extended a gracious welcome to Ha Sung-ju and his delegation. He provided an overview of the school's operations and highlighted its initiatives and achievements in the fields of digitalization and openness. Notably, CCNU stands as the sole university in Hubei Province offering a comprehensive Korean language personnel training system spanning bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. The institution maintains robust and extensive exchange with Korea.
President Peng also expressed his desire to further expand collaborations with Korea with the support of the Consulate General of Korea in Wuhan. He emphasized the university's commitment to fostering deeper partnerships with more Korean universities, aiming to significantly contribute to the enhancement of educational and cultural exchanges between China and Korea.
Ha Sung-ju expressed his sincere gratitude for CCNU's warm hospitality. He conveyed the Consul General's desires to enhance cooperation with CCNU, facilitating lectures on Korean culture for Korean language students and encouraging more students to pursue studies in Korea. This, he emphasized, would further strengthen the bonds of friendship between China and Korea. He also commended CCNU for its dedications to nurturing Korean language talents and fostering educational exchanges between China and Korea. He pledged to explore additional channels to promote cooperation between CCNU and Korean universities.
