On July 13, the signing ceremony for the strategic cooperation agreement between our university and Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL), along with the mutual employment of professionals from both institutions, was held in the lecture hall of the new Liberal Arts Building. During the meeting, President Peng Shuangjie and President Yang Canming signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of the two universities.
Professor Hou Zhenfa, Party Secretary of ZUEL noted that, in the context of accelerating educational modernization, it's of great necessity for both parties to engage in in-depth cooperation and take proactive actions, so as to contribute more efforts in building China in a leading country in education and advancing its modernization through a Chinese path.
Professor Xia Lixin, Party Secretary of CCNU stated that the signed strategic cooperation agreement means the two institutions will fully leverage their leading edge in respective strong disciplines and make comprehensive cooperation in areas like talent cultivation, discipline development, scientific research, and social services. It marks not only a significant milestone in the strategic partnership between the two sides, but also a remarkable event in the high-quality development of higher education in Hubei province.
