Recently, at the annual meeting of the Alexander Von Humboldt Foundation held in Berlin, Germany, Professor Wang Xinnian from CCNU received the Humboldt Research Award 2024 for his significant contributions to the understanding of the quark-gluon plasma.
The Humboldt Research Award, established in 1972 by the Alexander Von Humboldt Foundation in Germany, is designed to recognize scientists worldwide for their outstanding achievements in basic research, theoretical innovation, and disciplinary leadership. Additionally, it is awarded to no more than 100 recipients each year.
