On March 3, a delegation from South-Central Minzu University (SCMZU), led by Party Secretary Xu Yeqin and President Liu Yi, visited CCNU and was warmly received by CCNU leaders in the conference room of the Administration Building. The meeting was hosted by President Peng Shuangjie.
During the meeting Party Secretary Xia Lixin first reviewed the historical origin of CCNU and SCMZU, emphasizing the distinctive features of Teacher faculty and informationalized education at CCNU. He noted that the two universities have long maintained a strong cooperative relationship in various fields such as talent cultivation and discipline construction. He expressed hope that the visit would serve as an opportunity to further strengthen ties and jointly pursue high-quality development.
Xu Yeqin provided an overview of SCMZU's history, foundation and current development. He highlighted that the two universities share common roots and a strong foundation for cooperation. He also expressed the wish to deepen mutual communications and learning, and engage in practical cooperation to promote shared development by leveraging their respective strengths.
Liu Yi outlined the ongoing collaboration between the two institutions in areas such as faculty development, talent training, scientific research, discipline construction, innovation and entrepreneurship and smart campus initiatives.
Representatives from relevant departments of both universities attended the symposium and exchanged views on specific cooperation initiatives.
