On February 23, CCNU and PanSheng Dingcheng Technology jointly inaugurated the Hongxing Future Technology Laboratory at the Academic Exchange Center. Officials from Wuhan municipal government, academicians from multiple Chinese research institutions and universities, and leaders from Huangpi District and the CCNU attended the ceremony, which was presided over by vice president Liu Sanya.

Xia Lixin, Secretary of the Party Committee at CCNU, emphasized the laboratory's role in advancing China's science and technology self-reliance strategy through university-industry collaboration. Focused on physics disciplines, the lab will focus on HarmonyOS applications, SparkLink wireless communication, AI terminals and high-performance computing to drive domestic technological innovation.
Municipal officials lauded the initiative as a catalyst for Wuhan's AI industry ecosystem. Huangpi District Chief Zhang Jing highlighted its alignment with regional industrial upgrading plans.
Laboratory Director Wang Enke outlined its four research tracks and industry-academia integration roadmap. During the event, CCNU appointed CEOs from Shenzhen Xunlong Software and other tech firms as adjunct postgraduate supervisors.
