The finals of the 10th "Nie Gannu Cup" College Students' Chinese Poetry Invitational took place on May 28 at Central China Normal University (CCNU), gathering national poetry talents to showcase classical literary creativity.

Hosted under the theme "Poetic Youth & Ink-Wash China", the competition drew 2,324 entries from 87 universities across the country, with works spanning nostalgic tributes to traditional culture and incisive reflections on modern topics like technology and ecology—embodying the mission of contemporary youth. After multiple rounds of evaluation, 12 finalists from nationwide institutions competed in on-site recitation and creative challenges.

Since its inception in 2015, the "Nie Gannu Cup" has become a cornerstone for youth literary cultivation, attracting over 20,000 participants from the Chinese mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao. The event not only preserves classical poetry traditions but also serves as a bridge for young scholars to integrate traditional aesthetics with contemporary perspectives, fostering cultural confidence among the younger generation.
