Recently Central China Normal University (CCNU) and Hailiang Education Technology Service Group have jointly launched a Research Center for Digital and Intelligent Education, marking a major strategic partnership between the two sides. The initiative will help to deepen industry-academia integration and transform innovations in educational technology into practice, with a primary focus on AI-empowered learning.

The strategic cooperation agreement was sighed by leaders of the two institutions.

During the meeting, the two parties mentioned they will leverage their respective advantages in scientific research capabilities and application scenarios, and focus on advancing cooperation in four key areas: the research and application of school-based teaching and research products, the research and application of regional education alliance products, the cultivation of talents in educational informatization, as well as the joint development of academic brands and influence.

This partnership represents a significant step in implementing China's national education strategies. Looking ahead, the research center will serve as a central hub to engage diverse stakeholders from academia, industry, government, and the community. The ultimate goal is to leverage digital tools to reshape educational processes and promote resource sharing, pioneering an innovative, practical model for a new educational ecosystem tailored to China's context.
