On July 17th, the final of the Choreography Division at the 22nd Seoul International Dance Competition was held in Seoul, South Korea. After a fierce competition, the dance, Under the Roof, co-created and performed by Jin Shaoshen, a young teacher from CCNU, and Lin Lang, a young teacher from Xinghai Conservatory of Music, won the Gold Award in the Youth Choreography Category.
Hosted by the Seoul International Cultural Exchange Association, the Seoul International Dance Competition is one of the highest-standard and most influential dance events in Asia, and is affiliated with the International Dance Competition Alliance under the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). By integrating ethnic cultural elements with contemporary dance language, two winners have injected Chinese aesthetic expressions into the international stage, and added another remarkable achievement to the international development of the dance discipline in our university.

This award-winning achievement not only represents high recognition of the work's artistic standards, but also serves as an international demonstration of the charm derived from the integration of Chinese culture and contemporary artistic creation.In the future, the university will continue to provide support for artistic creation and international cultural exchanges, striving to enable more artistic works to shine brilliantly on the world stage.
