On September 5th, in order to celebrate the 41st Teachers’ Day, the Ministry of Education held a press conference to introduce the progress and achievements made by the Ministry and relevant departments. Professor Li Qing from our university’s Faculty of Artificial Intelligence in Education was invited to share, the institution’s practices and results in leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance teacher development.
In recent years, CCNU has achieved a number of significant outcomes in AI-empowered teacher education. These include publishing a series of papers on international top journals, such as “Meta-Questions and New Pathways for AI-Empowered Teachers”, published on journal Educational Research.The “Shi Shuo” teacher education large model was featured as a typical case at the 2025 World Digital Education Conference. The “Research on the Reconstruction of Smart Education Paradigms” was approved as a major project under the National Social Science Fund in Education, actively contributing to the development of a high-quality, professional teaching workforce in the new era.
The press conference was organized to mark the first anniversary of the National Education Conference. Under the Three-Year Action Plan, the Ministry aims to showcase progress in building a strong education system through comprehensive pilot reforms and diverse communication channels.
