From October 27th to 31st, 2023, the 18th final of "Challenge Cup" National Undergraduate curricular academic science and technology Competition was held in Guizhou University. More than 2000 universities participated in this year's competition.
After a fierce competition, CCNU emerged victorious, securing 1 Grand Prize, 6 First Prizes, 8 Second Prizes and 5 Third Prizes, marking a record high number of national awards won by the university in single setting. Among them, the work instructed by Ma Yutao, Jiang Xingpeng, and Zhang Yan in School of Computer won the Grand Prize; it is the 4th Grand Prize in the history of CCNU and the first time in the history of scientific and technological inventions and production.
Since its inception in 1989, the Challenge Cup has earned a reputation as the ''Olympic" event for Chinese college students in academic science and technology.
