On July 11th, the closing ceremony of Exploring the Shu Han Culture—American Youth Study Camp was held at our university.
At the ceremony, Yang Jun, Secretary General of the China Education Association for International Exchange, introduced the "Youth Emissary Exchange and Studying Program"(YES Program), was launched in response to President Xi Jinping's initiative to enhance China-US youth exchanges. He warmly welcomed more American youth to study in China.
"Explore China Through the Lens" is an international student study camp initiated by our school. At the closing ceremony, participants showcased China's natural beauty, cultural heritage, and technological innovations through self-produced videos, expressing their admiration for the country's landscapes, rich history, and rapid technological advancements.
During the exchange, teachers and students also visited historical sites in Sichuan and Hubei province, attended Chinese language and traditional culture courses, and participated in lectures on Chinese architecture and high-speed rail technology. This program deepened American students' understanding of China and fostered cultural exchange between Chinese and American youth.
Additionally, CCNU organized several short-term international student study programs this summer, welcoming over 100 teachers and students from the US, UK, Australia, Russia, South Korea and Singapore.
