On June 7, vice president Ren Youzhou held a meeting with a delegation led by Olga Vasilieva, president of the Russian Academy of Education, at the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing. The two sides reached important consensus on deepening educational and scientific research cooperation and signed a framework agreement. Relevant heads from both sides participated in the discussion.

During the discussion , Mrs Olga Vasilieva introduced the structure, disciplinary system and operational mechanism of the Russian Academy of Education, and shared the extensive cooperation network established by the Academy with domestic and foreign universities. She noted that the signing of the cooperation agreement between the Russian Academy of Education and CCNU has laid a good foundation for bilateral cooperation. As this year marks the China-Russia Cultural Year, she sincerely invited experts from our university to attend the upcoming China-Russia Education Forum in Moscow, and expressed her expectation for deeper pragmatic cooperation with our university in the field of "AI+Education", especially in theoretical research and practical exploration of inclusive education.

Vice president Ren Youzhou stated that in May this year, three academicians and experts from the Russian Academy of Education were invited to participate in the 2025 World Digital Education Conference. They shared their latest research achievements at the parallel forum of the conference, which was hosted by our university. During the conference, the participating experts visited the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence Education of our university and had full exchanges with relevant teams on issues such as scientific research project application and the establishment of joint laboratories, injecting new vitality into the next stage of cooperation between the two sides.
At the symposium, the two sides focused on full exchanges on issues such as scientific research cooperation in the field of inclusive education and teacher training between China and Russia. The participating representatives expressed that they will further broaden the scope of cooperation and work together to make positive contributions to educational cooperation and people-to-people exchanges between China and Russia.
