National Engineering Research Center of Educational Big Data is the first national engineering research center in education industry, specializing in the research and application innovation of Educational Big Data. NERC-EBD passed the inspection procedures and was accepted by experts of the National Development and Reform Commission in September 2021. It successfully passed the optimization and integration evaluation in December 2021, and was included in the new sequence construction of the National Engineering Research Center.

2.National Engineering Research Center for E-Learning (NERCEL)

National Engineering Research Center for E-Learning (NERCEL) is a specialized R&D institution engaged in the research of educational information technology and the commercialization of research achievements in China. In 2004, NERCEL was approved by Hubei Provincial Development and Reform Commission as a provincial Engineering Research Center. In 2006, it was approved bytheMinistry of Education as an Engineering Research Center oftheMinistry of Education. In 2009, NERCEL was enlisted by Ministry of Science and Technology in the National Engineering Technology Research Center construction sequence, becoming the solely National Engineering Research Center in the field of education informatization. It is an important research platform for e-learning technology innovation, technology transformation, engineering application, and technical training, representing the first-class level of technology research and development as well as engineering practice in educational information technology domestically.

3.International Joint Research Center for Quark Matter and Detection Technology

International Joint Research Center for Quark Matter and Detection Technology is the first national international cooperative research base ofCCNU,recognized by the Ministry of Science and Technology in 2015. The Center relies on thesolid foundationof theCollegeof Physical Science and Technology, takingpart inmajor national scientific research tasks, and carryingout multilateral cooperation withprominenthigh energy nuclear physics research centers and basesglobally.Its research fields include: the phase structure of the strong interaction phase diagram, the energy loss mechanism andstrong coupling characteristics of quark matter, particle detectiontechnology and applications,etc.. 4.The International Joint Research Center for Intelligent Bio-sensoring Technology and Health

The International Joint Research Center for Intelligent Bio-sensoring Technology and Health is an international science and technology cooperation base approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology in 2018. With the support ofCCNUand the Key Laboratory of Pesticide and Chemical Biology of Ministry of Education as the main body, the Center fully integrates the resources of chemistry, life science, material science, computer science and other related disciplines to build aninternational scientific and technological cooperation research center. The Center focuses on agricultural safety, and aims to improve the health ofcommonpeople. It conducts multidisciplinary collaborative research onsignificantscientific issues such as biophotonics and food safety, and is committed to the development of intelligent biosensoring technology. The Center has carried out extensive cooperative research with Australia, the United States, Germany, Switzerland, France, Japan, Canada, Sri Lanka and other countries and regions.
